Dr. M. William Lockard, Jr. graduated from Northwestern
University Dental School. He has
been involved as an associate faculty member and currently advisory faculty at The Pankey Institute
for 30 years, a clinical instructor in
Fixed Prosthodontics at the
University of Oklahoma Dental
School, an intern advisor at St.
Anthony Hospital and a teaching
faculty member with The Pride
Institute.
He is a former member of the Academy of General Dentistry Foundation board of directors, L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation board of trustees, and Oklahoma Board of Governors of Registered Dentists. He has published in The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Esthetic Dentistry Update, Dental Economics, Dental Management, GP (Practice Expansion Through Clinical Specialization), Texas Dental Journal and Oklahoma Dental Journal. He is the author of a previous book, The Winning Combination – A Philosophy.
Dr. Lockard has presented seminars and in-office consultations on dental practice management systems, structure, communications, comprehensive restorative dentistry, and team development process throughout the United States, England, Japan, and Canada. He has made presentations at the Yankee Dental Congress; Hinman Dental Meeting; Chicago Mid-Winter; American Academy of Restorative Dentistry; Southwest Dental Conference; Greater New York Dental Meeting; Greater Houston Mid-Winter; Society for Occlusal Studies Symposium, Vancouver B.C.; ADA Annual Sessions in Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, and Hawaii; the California Dental Association; the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration; and the European Dental Conference, London, England.
He has held memberships in The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, The American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, The Equilibration Society, American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy, ADA, Oklahoma Dental Association, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists.
